Bihar Assembly Election Results 2020: How RJD's Tejashwi Yadav missed CM chair?

It is both sorrowful and disturbing to see Bihar government trying hard to safeguard the prime culprits of Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case. According to Bihar’s Opposition leader and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, The shelter homeowner Brijesh Thakur is a close ally to Social Welfare Minister Manju Verma and the Urban Development Minister Suresh Sharma. Both these state ministers are alleged to be somehow connected to the whole case. Minister Manju Verma’s husband Chandeshwar Verma is alleged to be a regular visitor of the shelter home where the girls were living.

Only after repeated insistence by RJD and Congress MLAs for CBI probe into Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had ordered a CBI probe into the matter. Earlier, Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi had shown their reluctance over any Central Bureau of Investigation in the mass gang rape case. The Chief Minister had said that the State Police is looking into the matter and he does not feel any need for CBI’s intervention into the matter.
