All about ongoing controversy over conducting JEE, NEET 2020 Exams

At the same time, the demand for postponing the medical and engineering entrance examinations surged after the NTA made it clear that the entrance exams will be held as slated in September.

NTA defended its decision, saying that it had made careful arrangements to sanitise centres before and after the exams. “The NTA has also prepared a comprehensive advisory regarding COVID-19 for all functionaries for centre management, the testing agency said.

However, in view of the increase in coronavirus cases, some students and parents have asked for further postponement of entrance exams. Several politicians also urged the government to reconsider the decision to hold the exam next month and “make alternate arrangement.”
