NEET 2020: NTA issues notice to warn students about fake calls, SMS and emails

The government recently informed that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2020) for admission into medical colleges is scheduled to be conducted on July 26.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice to warn candidates, who will appear for NEET (UG) 2020 against fake/fraudulent calls, SMS and emails asking about application form details and personal information of NEET on Monday, May 11.

An official notification reads, “It has come to our notice of the National Testing Agency that fake/fraudulent calls, SMS and emails are being circulated to NEET (UG)-2020 candidates asking for their NEET application form details including personal information.”

NTA advised candidates who will take the entrance exam that not to share any personal details or any other information through phone calls, SMS or emails.

The exam conducting agency, NTA has assured that “strict action” will be taken against such unscrupulous elements seeking personal details from candidates. It has also asked candidates and their parents to only believe in the information available on the official website of NTA and NEET.
