NEET Result 2020: Allen Kota claims Soyeb Aftab scored 720 out of 720, results yet to be announced

According to Allen career institute's Tweet, Soyeb Aftab has scored 720 marks in NEET 2020 as per the OMR released by NTA. NTA had uploaded the NEET 2020 answer keys on September 26, 2020, and the OMR sheets on October 5, 2020.

NEET Result 2020: According to Allen’s career institute’s Tweet, Soyeb Aftab has scored 720 marks in NEET 2020 as per the OMR released by NTA. NTA had uploaded the NEET 2020 answer keys on September 26, 2020, and the OMR sheets on October 5, 2020.

NEET 2020 result will be out soon. However, before the result is out, using the scanned NEET OMR sheet aspirants are able to calculate their scores. And Allen Kota said Soyeb Aftab has scored 720/720 marks in the exam.

It should be noted that no candidate has scored 720 / 720 in NEET until today. If the result also declares the marks of Soyeb Aftab as 720 / 720 then history will be made, and he will become the first candidate to achieve this feat in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate).

NTA will declare the result online, under the respective logins of the candidates at ntaneet.nic.in. It will be available as a scorecard. It will bear the All India Quota Rank and the overall raw marks with percentile score. The scorecard of NEET will be used to fill 15% All India Quota seats and 85% seats under state quotas.

This year the registration received is 15,97,433. The cutoff marks will be higher this year as per the experts. They have predicted that since this year, the number of applied candidates was more than 15 lakh, which is highest so far, and the paper was also moderate in the level difficulty, hence, there is a high possibility that cut off might increase.

NEET 2020 result date has yet not been confirmed yet. However, MHRD, Ramesh Pokhriyal has said that the result will be declared early this year to avoid further delay in the session.

Last year 15,19,375 candidates registered for the exam out of which only 14,10,755 appeared and the cut-off was 134 for UR candidates, 120 for UR-Ph candidates, and 107 for ST, SC, OBC, ST-PH, SC-PH, and OBC-PH.

Until today the highest scorer in the NEET exam is Nalin Khandelwal with 701 marks out of 720 marks. He was the previous year topper. In 2018, the topper was Kalpana Kumari who got 691 marks out of 720.
