NEET SS 2023 exam begins tomorrow; check marking scheme and paper pattern

NEET SS 2023 is the sole exam for admission to DM/MCh and DrNB super specialty programmes.

NEET SS 2023 exam update: The National Board of Examiners (NBE) will administer the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test – super speciality (NEET SS 2023) tomorrow. NEET SS 2023 is the sole exam for admission to DM/MCh and DrNB super specialty programmes. Examinees are required to bring their NEET SS admit card 2023 to the examination location. The exam will be administered in two shifts: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the morning shift, and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon shift.

The NEET SS question paper for 2023 will contain 150 questions. Candidates will have 2.5 hours to complete the examination. All questions will be based on the curriculum for the Postgraduate Exit level of the primary feeder subject’s broad specialisation. The questions in the paper for any group will cover the general, fundamental component and all sub-specialty, systems, components of respective primary feeder broad specialty subject.

NEET SS 2023 marking scheme

There will be a 25 per cent penalty for incorrect responses. There will be no deductions for unanswered queries.

Correct answer: 4

Incorrect answer: 1 marks will be deducted

Unattempted questions: No marks

NEET SS 2023 exam format

The NEET SS will be a group-based examination, and the question paper will contain only broad specialty primary feeder questions. In previous years, the exam paper comprised sixty percent of queries from the super specialty and 40 per cent from the feeder broad specialty.
