NEET UG Result 2026 Out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Re-National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (Re-NEET UG) 2026 result today on Thursday, July 16. Candidates can now access their scorecards on the official NEET website by logging in with their application number and date of birth. The result paves the way for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical admissions through the upcoming counselling process.

The re-examination was conducted on June 21 after the original NEET UG exam held on May 3 was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak. The NTA had earlier released the final answer key, dropping one Physics question and awarding bonus marks where applicable before publishing the results.
According to the result data put out by the NTA, more than 11.25 lakh candidates have managed to qualify the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. It’s notably the women who make up over 58% of the total qualified lot. These numbers point to the bigger shift in both involvement and accomplishment of women in medical education.

1. Visit the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on NEET UG 2026 Result link available on the ‘Latest News’ blue band on the home page.
3. A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the login details.
4. Click on submit and your result will be displayed.
5. Check the result and download for future use
Topper List and AIR Rankings
The agency has also published the NEET UG 2026 merit list, featuring the All India Rank (AIR) holders and top-performing candidates across categories. Aryan Gupta and Panshul Bansal are NEET UG 2026 toppers, scoring 715 out of 720.
In a press release after declaring the NEET UG 2026 results, the NTA said that 11.25 lakh candidates had qualified, with more than 58 per cent of them being women. “The result has been declared in time so that the medical-admission and counselling calendar for candidates stays on track,” the NTA said. Candidates can access the detailed merit list through the official notification issued by the NTA.
