Despite the outrage of a nation, the Dalit victim’s family is being harassed and attempts are being made to portray the Thakur rapists as innocent. Are we clear now that this is about caste? Would the govt go to these lengths to protect any other criminals? #DalitLivesMatter

It should be noted that the district administration has banned the entry of media inside the Boolgarhi village where the Hathras assault victim lived. A heavy deployment of police was made around the village on Friday and even the movement of locals was restricted. In fact, some policemen were also spotted in the fields to prevent media persons from reaching the house of the victim and meeting her family.
