Mahindra XUV 7XO: Mahindra has started pre-bookings for its new SUV called the XUV 7XO in India. Buyers can book the car by paying Rs 21,000. Mahindra plans to launch this SUV in January 2026. The company may share the final prices around the same time.
The XUV 7XO is an updated version of the popular XUV700. Mahindra keeps the same strong base but adds many fresh changes. The brand focuses on new looks, a better cabin, and more features so the SUV feels new and exciting in a tough market.
New Look Inspired by Electric Models
On the outside, the XUV 7XO takes design ideas from Mahindra’s electric XEV 9S. The front looks new and modern. It may come with full-width LED DRLs and LED headlamps placed on the bumper. The side profile looks sportier with new dual-tone alloy wheels. At the back, the SUV may get new tail lamps with a honeycomb style design.

Mahindra also plans to add new paint colours with this update. This gives buyers more choices than before and helps the SUV stand out on the road.
Cabin Feels More Premium and High-Tech
Inside the car, Mahindra brings the biggest changes. The XUV 7XO gets a new dashboard with three screens placed together. It includes a digital driver display, a large touchscreen, and a screen for the front passenger. This setup looks similar to what Mahindra already uses in the XEV 9S and XEV 9e.
The SUV also gets a new two-spoke steering wheel. It comes with a glossy black finish and a glowing Mahindra logo. The seats and cabin materials look more premium. Buyers may also see new colour themes like white and tan inside the cabin.
Comfort and Safety
Mahindra adds many comfort features to the XUV 7XO. The co-driver seat gets a powered Boss Mode. This feature suits buyers who travel with a driver. The SUV may also offer a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats for front and rear, powered front seats, window blinds for the second row, foldable tray tables, wireless charging, and soft ambient lighting.
Safety stays a strong point. The SUV may include Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, and hill hold assist.
Under the bonnet, Mahindra keeps the same engines. Buyers may get a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine or a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines may come with manual and automatic gearboxes. The diesel version may also offer an all-wheel drive option.
