Nio Phone: At an event in Shanghai, China, a well-known Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles (EVs) introduced its first smartphone. The company unveiled its new smartphone following numerous rumors and leaks. Nio Phone is capable of controlling multiple vehicles and can even unlock a vehicle when the smartphone is off.

Nio Phone is designed to operate automobiles, and it even includes a dedicated button that can serve as a key. There is an app on the smartphone that facilitates a more convenient and seamless connection with the vehicle. In addition to controlling the vehicle, the intelligent features will facilitate a smooth transition from smartphone to vehicle for video conferences. Other features, such as the synchronization of music, contacts, and personal device settings, will automatically synchronize with the car.

Nio Phone Specifications
Specifications for the Nio Phone include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of storage. It features a 6.81-inch curved display with a 2K resolution and variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz manufactured by Samsung. Additionally, the display offers HDR 10+ support and a pixel density of 515.
In the camera section, the Nio Phone features a triple rear camera sensor with a 50MP IMX707 lens with OIS, a 50MP IMX766 Ultrawide sensor with OIS, and a 50MP IMX890 telephoto lens with OIS.
The smartphone includes a 5200 mAh battery with 66W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W support for reverse charging. It operates on Android with Sky UI skin.

Presently, the Nio Phone is only available in China, and there are no plans to release it in European countries where EVs are already available for purchase.

Nio has delivered 20,000 EVs per month on a daily basis for the past few months. According to the Q2 financial report, EV profits have doubled. It has experienced “continued growth” from imbunatil to date.
