No change in JEE Main

No change in JEE Main: An entrance examination will be administered for each category in anticipation of the general Lok Sabha elections of 2024. The JEE (Main), NEET UG, and CUET UG are examples. The National Testing Agency informed TOI that the test schedule would not be altered once the EC announced the dates.

The administration of the JEE Main Session 2 examination will occur from April 4 to 15, 2024. The NTA will distribute the admit cards for the JEE Main 2024 session 2 examination on April 1. Additionally, the city notification paper will be distributed by March 30. The JEE Main session 2 examination never occurs in an election year; therefore, a change in the dates is implausible.

The results of the initial JEE Main 2024 examination, which was administered from January 24 to February 1, were made public on February 12.

No change in JEE Main, CUET UG, NEET UG exam dates amid Lok Sabha elections: Report

The NEET UG 2024 examination will be administered at test centers across the nation on May 5. More than 25 lakh individuals registered for the NEET UG 2024 for the first time this year. 14 cities outside of India have also been selected by NTA to host NEET UG 2024.

“NEET UG the entrance test for medical, dental, and allied health courses, will be conducted as scheduled as there is no voting on May 5.” said NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh.

The final CUET UG call will occur once the application limit has been reached.

From May 15 to May 31, 2024, CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in a combined format, according to the NTA. The application period for CUET UG has commenced, and the NTA will not alter the test window. However, the precise dates will be determined at a later time. The representative stated, “After registration is complete, we will make a final decision.”

A total of 29 topic themes were initially considered; however, in order to facilitate the evaluation and testing procedures, the number of options has been reduced to six. Numerous college programs at prestigious universities in India, including Hyderabad University, Delhi University, and Banaras Hindu University, are accessible via the examination.
