Teens Under Liquor Influence Damage Cars in Indore: In the early hours of Saturday morning, a group of teenagers damaged five cars parked outside houses in Banganga.

Despite being unidentified, the accused were caught within six hours after receiving a complaint. Two of them, including the girl, are minors. Their act was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the scene.

Ramsanehi Mishra, additional DCP (zone-3), confirmed that the incident occurred between 2 am and 2.30 am at Vrindavan Colony. On Saturday morning, five cars parked outside houses were damaged one by one by a group of youths on some two-wheelers.

The owners of the cars were informed of the incident when they came out of their houses. After that, police were notified.

Police checked CCTVs and found that some youths on bikes damaged cars with stones and fled the scene. It was difficult for the police to identify the accused because they were unidentified. The police however managed to identify the accused on other CCTVs and arrested them.

Six youths, including a minor, have been arrested by the police thus far. They have also been paraded by the police, where the accused apologized to the community.

The accused were reported to have told the police that they were inebriated. They had gone to Malharganj area on some vehicles. While returning, they had an altercation with someone.

A group of drunken men pelted heavy stones on cars in Vrindavan Colony one by one, damaging them badly as they were under the influence of liquor. Police officials say they were unable to catch the 17-year-old girl until the time of this report. They are all 19-year-olds, including Sameer, Nishil, Dharmendra, Deepanshu and Jitu. A 17-year-old boy was also arrested in connection with the case.

Once again, teens engage in unlawful conduct

Two Class X students were attacked with belts by some teenagers in Chhatripura area a few days ago. Police caught some youths who told them they wanted to show their influence among people so they attacked the students coming home from the examination center. Several days ago, some teenagers had started a ruckus after this incident under the influence of liquor, and one of them attacked a journalist near the Hotel Shreemaya near the BRTS corridor. Next morning, police had caught a 17-year-old boy.
