The most anticipated of global sports clashes the cricket match between India and Pakistan has always been among the most viewed sporting events in the world. But, as far as the T20 World Cup that is slated to take place in Australia in 2020, the two cricketing giants have been drawn into different groups and only by the time the next stage of the tournament kicks in could a clash between them can take place.

India have beaten Pakistan in all six meeting in the ODI World Cup and have got the better of them all five times at the World T20 Tournament. Among ICC competitions, It is only at the Champions Trophy that Pakistan have defeated the men in blues. In the five encounters, Pakistan have beaten India on three occasions, the 2017 Champion Trophy Final victory of 180 runs being the latest entrant.

The Australia cricket board is all set to host both men and women T20 world cup together next year in the country Down Under.

The Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 will be played from October 18 to November 15, 2020. The top 16 top teams will play 45 matches during the tournament including the finals at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

ICC has split the top 8 teams into 2 pools; A & B.
