During a trailer launch event of upcoming movie ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Amir Khan were questioned about their views over the controversial Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar case to which, the stars artfully cornered themselves.

“Neither I am Tanushree, Nor am I Nana. So, I cannot say anything on this,” said 75-year-old Amitabh when asked to comment on the controversy.

On the other hand, Amir Khan offered a more diplomatic answer stating, “Without knowing the veracity of something, it’s not right for me to comment on it. But whenever something like this does happen, it’s a sad thing. Whether this has happened, that is for people to investigate.”

Recently, Tanushree Dutta opened up about an incident of harassment that took place on the sets of the film, Horn Ok Please, 10 years ago. The actress, a former Miss India-Universe who is now based in the US, claimed that Nana Patekar had touched her inappropriately during a dance sequence, and when she tried to raise an alarm about the same, she met with aggressive behaviour by the makers of the film.

Patekar, who had denied the claims at a press conference when Tanushree raised the issue in 2008, remained unreachable despite several attempts to contact him for his version of what had happened.
