Terming budget as a disappointing, senior Congress leader and MP, Ahmed Patel said that the budget has no road map for creation of jobs, increase in farmer income and decrease in house prices.

He added that there in nothing for poor, women and villagers. “Many times they said budget will be in favor of poor, women and those in rural areas.But if you scratch the surface there is nothing,” he said.

“Surprisingly, compared to last year, social sector & SC/ST spending has reduced. Publicity expenditure has gone up,” he said.

“Budget targets-for housing project has been lowered, crop insurance unfulfilled , broadband project delayed & MUDRA is misleading,” he said in another tweet.
He added that informal workers, small traders, farmers, women, students, central police personnel have been left out in this budget.
