Nobel citation robbed from Kailash Satyarthi’s home

The south Delhi apartment of Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi was robbed.

According to reports, thieves broke into Satyarthi’s apartment in south Delhi’s Alaknanda.

Many things, including Nobel Prize citation, were stolen from the house, DCP South East Delhi confirmed.

Kalkaji Police registered a case and a forensic team was called into lift fingerprints and footprints, Indian Express reported.

Kailash Satyarthi, children’s rights and education activist and the founder of the Bachpan Bachao Andolan in 1980, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 along with Pakistan’s Malala Yousafzai.

In 2004, Rabindranath Tagore’s Nobel Prize for Literature was stolen.
