Noida Police’s Traffic Advisory for Smooth Independence Day: On Saturday, the Noida Police Department issued a traffic advisory in advance of Independence Day celebrations in Delhi and surrounding areas to ensure seamless vehicular movement throughout the festivities. The advisory specifies restrictions on the entry of heavy, medium, and light commercial vehicles into the nation’s capital due to security concerns.
These vehicles will not be permitted to enter Delhi between 10 p.m. on August 12 and the conclusion of the Independence Day dress rehearsal on August 13, and again between 10 p.m. on August 14 and the conclusion of the Independence Day celebrations on August 15.

To assist commuters, the Noida Police Department has proposed alternative routes:
From Noida’s Chilla Border, vehicles travelling to Delhi or other states via the national capital can take the Eastern Peripheral Motorway through the Noida-Greater Noida Motorway and make a U-turn at the Chilla Red Light.
Using the Delhi-Noida-Delhi (DND) viaduct, motorists can make a U-turn at the toll plaza and access the Eastern Peripheral Motorway via the Noida-Greater Noida Motorway.
Vehicles travelling to Delhi or other states via the national capital from the Kalindi Kunj-Yamuna border will be detoured prior to the Yamuna River subway. They can then proceed via the Noida-Greater Noida Motorway to the Eastern Peripheral Motorway.
