In response to the allegations against him, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has slammed BJP in a series of tweets. After the Income Tax raided 22 locations in Delhi NCR in relation to the Benami land deal case, Lalu alleged that the government is targeting him as he constantly keeps criticising the Central government.

RSS-BJP को लालू के नाम से कंपकंपी छूटती है। इनको पता है कि लालू इनके झूठ,लूट और जुमलों के कारोबार को ध्वस्त कर रहा है तो दबाव बनाओ।

“People and businessmen connected to land deals involving Lalu Yadav and his family are being searched. There are allegations of benami (proxy) deals worth about Rs. 1,000 crore and subsequent tax evasion,” a senior official was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India.
Lalu also said that he cannot be silenced and is not afraid of anyone. He will make his voice heard and no one can suppress him.
