October 2025 Bank Holiday Schedule: In October 2025 banks all over India will be closed for 15 days (not counting Saturdays and Sundays). These closures happen because of festivals, state holidays, and regular weekends which is shown in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) calendar. Banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
Even tho physical bank branches will be closed on these days, customers can still use digital services like UPI, net banking, mobile apps, and ATMs. So people can pay bills, transfer money and check accounts online without visiting the branch. It’s a good idea to plan your banking in advance to avoid any problems during the holidays.
