An online petition that has grabbed considerable eyeballs on the internet urges US President-elect Donald Trump to appoint porn star Mia Khalifa as the US ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The petition has already received over 1300 signatures and needs 200 more to gain 1,500 supporters. The petition, we hope, was meant to be a joke, but has gone viral on the internet.
“Mia Khalifa has a proven track record of bringing people together regardless of cultural background for the betterment of our country and international community. She will be a great leader representing us in the middle east as well as a symbol of the melting pot that is America,” the petitioner wrote in the description on Change.org.
The petition has been started by a man named Dalcolm Rodriguez-Goldstein asking Trump to choose Mia Khalifa as the US ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Trump’s ‘shock win’ in the recently concluded US presidential elections has already shattered millions of hearts.
Amid protests against the business tycoon across America, Trump has been seen to have made numerous U-turns on different backward approaches. For instance, ‘ban all Muslims from the US’ page on his website was pulled down post the win.
Several days back, Trump nominated Nikki Haley, Governor of South Carolina state, as US envoy to the United Nations that was marked as Trump’s first female appointment to a Cabinet-level post.
Appointment of Haley possibly a reason activated for the beginning of an online petition.
