Anticipating large scale violence by the protesters, the state police has deployed more than 5000 security forces. Simultaneously, a close vigil is being kept on the protesters through CCTV cameras. Home Secretary SKG Rahte and DGP DK Pandey had informed in advance that besides the police, two companies of Rap, 6 companies of the State Rapid Action Force and more than 31 hundred soldiers of the Home Guards along with the Tier Gas Right Control Unit will also be deployed.

Based on the facts received through electronic surveillance, the cases of miscreants will be filed and trial will be conducted in the fast track court. The Home Secretary said that arrangements have been made to prevent disruption of common life during the shutdown. DGP said that action will be taken after identifying those who are disturbing the people. Those who provoke the crowd will be monitored. No one will force off shops and establishments.
