Pakistan spy arrested in Kolkata: On Saturday, a senior police officer reported that a Bihar-native suspected of being a Pakistani agent was apprehended in Kolkata and that sensitive documents were seized from his possession.

Friday, Kolkata Police officers acting on a tip arrested the individual at his residence in Howrah. “He was found to be directly involved in activities detrimental to national security,” the officer stated.
According to him, the man was apprehended late Friday night after hours of interrogation.
“His mobile phone contained secret information in the form of photographs, videos, and online conversations. These were sent by him to a suspected Pakistani intelligence agent, the officer said.
Previously, the accused, who worked for a courier service company in Kolkata, resided in Delhi.
He added that the man will be brought before a municipal court on Saturday.
