PCB announced that the seventh season of PSL will be held from 27th January 2022 to 27th February 2022 with all matches taking place in Pakistan.

Pakistan Super League 2022 ( also known as PSL 2022) will be the 7th season of the Pakistan Super League. It is a franchise Twenty20 cricket league that was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015.

PCB announced that the seventh season of PSL will be held from 27th January 2022 to 27th February 2022 with all matches taking place in Pakistan.

Lahore and Karachi will both host 15 matches each, with the finals to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Karachi.

The complete schedule for the Pakistan Super League 2022 (i.e. PSL 2022 or PSL 7) is officially announced by the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board).

Following an opening ceremony, defending champions Multan Sultans will take on hosts and 2020 champions Karachi Kings at the National Stadium with the first ball to be bowled at 7 pm PKT.

The sixth season of the PSL was won by Karachi Kings who defeated the Lahore Qalandars in the final of the competition in National Stadium, Karachi. It would be interesting to see who will win the HBL PSL 2022.

In PSL 2022, a total of six teams are participating who are the same as the previous season with no change in the team. All the matches of PSL 2022 were played at Karachi & Lahore venues.

Each team will play two matches in the double round-robin format so a total of 34 matches will be played including semi-final and Final.

After Karachi, which will host 15 matches from 27 January to 7 February, action will shift to the Gaddafi Stadium where the remaining 15 league matches and the four play-offs will be played from 10-27 February.

Like last year, This year also all the matches of Pakistan Super League 2022 will be played in Pakistan only.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure the health and safety of all participants by limiting unnecessary movement, 34-matches are to be played equally in Karachi and Lahore.

It will be the second season for PSL in which the entire season will be played in Pakistan only. It is great news for Pakistan Cricket Fans and PSL Team Owners.
