One of the much-awaited web series of Amazon Prime, the second season of Mirzapur is set to premiere in September 2020. Amazon Prime has finalized a premiere date in September and is scheduled to make an announcement late next week.
‘Mirzapur’ season 2 was initially premiering in April, but the makers faced delays in post-production due to the pandemic. The release is now planned for the last week of September, PeepingMoon reported.
The streaming giant will also announce many Bollywood films, regional movies and release dates of many web series including Coolie No.1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan.
Mirzapur is an Indian crime-based web series, that deals with drug dealings, murders and mafia wars. The story revolved around the wedding massacre and which led to the ultimate mafia wars. Extremely intriguing and engaging, the actors have nailed the characters with ease and comfort.
For those unaware, ‘Mirzapur’ debuted in 2018 to positive audience reactions. The series stars Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, and Shweta Tripathi, among others.
