The Parsi New Year is popularly known as Pateti. Delicious food, old customs, and fervor celebration is a part of this festival. Nawruz, Parsi New Year or Navroz will be celebrated across the world on August 17. However; Indians are known for following the Shahansahi calendar which leads to the celebration of New Year taking plays later in the year.
The Parsi New Year famously known as Nawruz follows Zoroastrian religion. The celebration marks the rejuvenation of everything which is a part of this universe. In Iran and other parts of the Middle East, Zoroastrians celebrated the Persian New Year using the Fasli/Bastnai calendar, which fixed the first day of the year on the Spring Equinox, usually on March 21, called Nowruz.
