The trailer of one the much-awaited film ‘Phillauri’ is finally out. The film is Anushka Sharma’s latest production venture and the trailer does not disappoint. The film is set in two different eras.
The film tells a story of Shashi (played by Anushka Sharma) who is a friendly ghost now and looking for her lover (Diljit Dosanjh). The film also stars ‘Life Of Pi’ star Suraj Sharma.
Sharma in the film plays a ‘Manglik’ groom who is forced to first get married to a tree on which Shashi resides. It seems to be a comedy-drama and has been directed by Anshai Lal.
The movie has been extensively shot in Punjab. It appears to be a fun, bitter-sweet love tale with some striking songs sung by Dosanjh himself. With a sociable ghost and a Punjabi wedding- Phillauri could be a decent watch this summer.
