PM Modi Photo Missing from Covid Vaccine Certificates: The Covid-19 certificates do not contain the photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Following AstraZeneca’s admission in a UK court that its vaccine causes a rare side effect, several netizens checked what vaccine they had taken.

According to the government’s CoWin data, nearly 1.7 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered in India under the brand name Covishield.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare told the print outlet that Modi’s picture was removed from vaccine certificates due to the Model Code of Conduct in place.

A British firm admitted earlier this month that its Covid vaccine can cause blood clots and low platelet counts in very rare cases.

According to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the company admitted its vaccine caused death and serious injury in 51 cases, while it is being sued for 100 million pounds in a class action lawsuit.

Vaccination caused “devastating effects” in some households, according to the attorneys.

AstraZeneca said, “It is admitted that the AZ vaccine can, in very rare cases, cause TTS. The causal mechanism is not known…Further, TTS can also occur in the absence of the AZ vaccine (or any vaccine). Causation in any individual case will be a matter for expert evidence.”

However, AstraZeneca has denied the lawyers’ claims that the vaccine is “defective” and its efficacy “vastly overstated”.

According to one of the complainants, Scott, who developed a brain bleed and a blood clot, the firm admitted its fault.
