PNB MetLife Launches Value Fund Under ULIP Plans for Long-Term Growth

PNB MetLife has launched a new Value Fund under its ULIP plans, aiming to offer long-term wealth growth with life cover. The fund is open for subscription until July 28.

PNB MetLife Value Fund: PNB MetLife India Insurance Company has launched a new fund called the PNB MetLife Value Fund. This is an equity fund that will be managed actively, and it is available under the company’s Unit-Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs). The fund opened for subscription on July 15 and people can invest in it until July 28. During this time, the price per unit or NAV will stay fixed at ₹10. After July 28, the fund will continue, but new investments will be made at market-linked NAVs which will change every day.

The company says this fund is based on value investing. That means they will invest in companies that are strong but undervalued, with a goal to grow investors’ money slowly and steadily over time. At the same time, it gives life insurance coverage too.

The fund will spread its investments across many sectors like energy, finance, chemicals, utilities, automobile, construction materials, and more. It is available with many of PNB MetLife’s existing ULIP products such as Smart Goal Ensuring Multiplier, Goal Ensuring Multiplier, Smart Platinum Plus, Term with ULIP, and Mera Wealth Plan.

According to CNBC TV18, Sanjay Kumar, the Chief Investment Officer of PNB MetLife, said this new fund can help people grow wealth by investing in companies with long-term potential. He believes this fund will support steady returns over time. He also said the fund will use deep research and manage risk in a very disciplined way, so people don’t have to worry too much.

PNB MetLife is a joint company of MetLife, Inc. and Punjab National Bank. The company already works across India with 155 branches and more than 36,000 financial advisors. It offers a wide range of insurance products that support families with long-term savings, child education, protection plans, and retirement needs.

This new fund adds another option for investors who want a mix of life cover and long-term wealth growth through ULIPs
