The further procedure in Kulbhushan Jadhav case will be discussed on Thursday by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) President Ronny Abraham.

Sources said that India will be represented by an ‘agent’, who had appeared in the last public meeting on May 18. Deepak Mittal, Ministry of external affairs joint secretary in- charge of Pakistan division, had represented India during the hearing.

India had moved to the ICJ against the death penalty of Jadhav on May 8. The ICJ had stayed the death sentence of the former Indian naval officer.

Pakistan claims Jadhav was arrested by its security forces from Balochistan province on March 3 last year, after he reportedly entered from Iran. However, India said that he was kidnapped from Iran, after he retired from the Indian Navy.
