Followed by over eight million people on Twitter, External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, is one of the most followed and influential leaders on Twitter. She tries to help everyone she can; whether someone has passport or visa issues, or helping Indians stranded in conflict zones. Yet, she manages to respond to tweets or requests that are addressed to her and which seek her attention.
Early Thursday morning, Twitter saw a really out-of-the-world request for the minister, where Karan Saini, a Twitter user, asked the minister to help him, as he was stuck on Mars. He had even tagged the Indian Space Reseach Organisation in the tweet.
@SushmaSwaraj? I am stuck on mars, food sent via ??Mangalyaan (987 days ago), is running out, when is ??Mangalyaan-II being sent ? @isro

Swaraj gave a witty reply to Saini.
Even if you are stuck on the Mars, Indian Embassy there will help you. https://t.co/Smg1oXKZXD

Her smart response has gone viral and it has been retweeted more than 3000 times in less than two hours.
The Twitterati have quickly dubbed it as ‘celestial diplomacy’.
