Multiple industry reports show that Project Hail Mary achieved impressive Day 1 (opening Friday) results with a domestic North American box office collection of approximately $33 million which equals around ₹275 crore.
The film established its initial success through a strong opening which later developed into box office success that brought in approximately $80.5 million during its first weekend in theaters.

The film achieved global box office revenue of approximately $140 to $141 million which equals more than ₹1,150 crore during its first weekend. This total includes $60.4 million which the film earned from international markets.
