As soon as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced class 10 results earlier this week, toppers under various criteria ruled the media headlines. Amid the skyrocketing scores of students, there lies a big bunch who didn’t scored in the range of 90’s, WHICH IS NO SHAME BECAUSE FISH IS NOT MEANT TO CLIMB THE TREE.

And the same was hailed by a proud mother Vandana Sufia, who took to the social media website to share how she is “super proud” of her son who scored a 60 percent in the board exams, praising him for his efforts.

Facebook user Vandana Sufia Katoch wrote, ‘Super proud of my boy who scored a 60% in Class 10 board exams. Yes, it is not a 90, but that doesn’t change how I feel.’

Vandana who lives in Delhi, is the founder of the Clayground Communications. Speaking about her son Aamer’s achievement, she writes, ‘I have seen him struggle with certain subjects almost to the point of giving up, and then deciding to give his all in the last month-and-a-half to finally make it through! Here’s to you’.

And within a span of just two days, her post has garnered widespread attention, with more than 3,000 shares and a barrage of responses – many of them lauding her for being a “great” mother.

Vandana is the living example for the parents who pressure their kids to score high and become a doctor or an engineer and if their child does not live up to their expectations, they criticize him and compare him with his better scoring friends.
