QS World University Rankings 2019: MIT world’s best University for 7th time in row, check complete top 10 list

For the second year running, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has topped the renowned QS World University Rankings 2019 amongst Indian institutes. IIT Delhi and Indian Institute of Sciences are the only other Indian universities to feature in top 200.

IIT Bombay took a giant leap in its ranking, the prestigious technology institute is ranked 162, last year it stood at 179th position.again made it into the QS University ranking. IIT Delhi is placed at 170 spot, while the IISc ranks at 172.

In the QS World University Ranking 2019, IIT Bombay is at 162nd rank, Indian Institute of Science is at 170th rank, and IIT Delhi is at 172nd rank. IIT Delhi shares the rank with University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, and University of Twente, Netherlands.

In the top 10 institutes in the world, 5 are from the United States, while 4 are from the United Kingdom. Only one institute in the top 10, ETH Zurich, is outside the United States and the United Kingdom.
