In a fiery critique of Prime Minister Modi’s administration, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the government of fostering monopoly and duopoly across various industries, to the detriment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Gandhi, during a recent Parliament session, interacted with small and medium ice cream manufacturers, spotlighting the harmful impact of government policies on their operations. He highlighted the complex GST system and increased fees as barriers stifling these businesses.
Gandhi emphasized that empowering MSMEs, which provide significant employment, is essential for India’s economic health. He accused the administration of sacrificing market fairness for monopolistic gains, allegedly benefiting Prime Minister Modi’s favored industrialists.
