While Congress leader Randeep Surjewala is praising the government’s decision to abolishing ₹ 500 and ₹ 1000 notes, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has taken an opposite stand slamming the government over the move.

Rahul said that Modi government has once again proved how little it cares about ordinary people of the country-“farmers, small shopkeepers, housewives – all thrown into utter chaos.”

Rahul said, “While the real culprits sit tight on their black money stashed away abroad or in bullion/ real estate. Well done Mr Modi.” He posed a question to the Prime Minister asking how is replacing ₹1000 notes with ₹ 2000 notes going to make black money hoarding a lot harder?

On the other hand Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said, “Congress has always supported any step against black money, and will continue to do so.”
