Rajasthan: Former BSP leader Jasram Gurjar shot dead by unidentified miscreants

Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Jasram Gurjar was shot dead by few unidentified assailants in Alwar’s Behror area on Monday, July 29.

As per the reports, the attackers fired at 40-year-old Jasram Gurjar near a temple in Jainpurbas village in Behror following which he was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

“Unidentified criminals shot him (Jasram Gurjar) dead in the village. Around 6-7 bullets pierced into his body. He himself was a history-sheeter. 14-15 cases were registered against him” senior police officer Ramjilal Choudhary in Behror city said.

Meanwhile, Gurjar’s family has accused the “Laden Gang” to be behind the murder. The two gangs have clashed with each other earlier too.

The police officials have registered a case and efforts were on to identify and nab the accused. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has sent for the postmortem.

Jasram Gurjar was the BSP candidate from Behror constituency in the 2018 state assembly elections.
