Rajasthan: Lakshman Singh, BSP candidate from Ramgarh passes away ahead of assembly elections

Lakshman Singh, the 62-year-old Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate from Ramgarh seat of Alwar district passed away of heart attack in early hours on Thursday, November 29.

Singh was among the six candidates announced by the BSP last month in its second list for the December assembly elections.

After his death, assembly elections are likely to be postponed and will be held in 199 of 200-seats.

The state is scheduled to go to polls on December 7 and the results would be announced on December 11.
