After a lot of anticipation and guesses, Rajasthan’s Suman Rao was crowned Femina Miss India 2019.
Among the 30 contestants participating from across India, hoping to be adjudged the winner of Femina Miss India 2019, Rao won and will now represent India at Miss World 2019 in Thailand.
Shivani Jadhav was crowned Femina Miss Grand India 2019 and Shreya Shanker was crowned Miss India United Continents 2019.
Miss India 2018, Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu crowned her successor Suman Rao, Miss India 2019 in an emotional moment. Last year’s first runner up or Miss Grand India Meenakshi Chaudhary of Haryana also crowned her successor and so did Andhra Pradesh’s Shreya Rao Kamavarapu who was adjudged the second runner-up in 2018.
The gala night witnessed some breath taking performances by Nora Fatehi, Katrina Kaif, Mouni Roy and Vicky Kaushal. The hosts of the evening—Karan Johar and Manish Paul did a great job and left no stone unturned to tickle our funny bone.

20-year-old Rao, hailed as beauty with brains, has been a CA student and crowned as 1st runners up for Miss Navi Mumbai 2018.
The Miss India 2019 winner describes herself as a “gentle kind and humble person who tries the best to achieve what can be achievable and make impossible to possible.”
Rao has strong opinions when it comes to women empowerment and had earlier told TOI in her interactions, her advice to women was, “Self Believe, Never give up attitude and Being humble and supportive to help other women grow together.”
When it comes to her Bollywood choices, Rao finds Ranveer Singh to be the sexiest man alive.
Her favourite Bollywood actor is Shahid Kapoor.
