Raksha Bandhan 2020: Here's how you can post Rakhi for soldier brother guarding India's borders

Raksha Bandhan 2020: The whole nation celebrates the festival of a beautiful bond of brothers and sisters every year. One of the most celebrated festivals of India-Rakshabandhan or Rakhi is around the corner. In Indian families, people celebrate it with great enthusiasm. This year Raksha Bandhan is on August 3.

This is a day to share love and affection with your lovable siblings and shower them with gifts and surprises. Traditionally, this joyous festival is marked to rejoice a brother’s vow to protect his sister from various obstacles.

We are all told why we tie rakhi to our brother’s wrist because he promised to protect us from evil forces and vowed to protect us from all possible threats.

Likewise, brave soldiers who fight on the border to protect the country deserve this precious gift.

On this day, the sisters wish their brothers prosperity and health. Rakshabandhan is the best time to making our jawans feel loved and happy as they are far from their family and unable to celebrate this joyous festival with their sisters.

In this difficult time, this gesture can warm their hearts and bring joy to their faces.

Just follow the simple steps below to deliver Rakhi to Indian soldiers on the border.

A) Pack a bunch of rakhis in an envelope and mark them as “Rakhi for Soldier” in bold and capital letters. Make sure not to scribble when labeling envelopes.

B) Next, you need to address Indian Army soldiers: C/O 99 APO or C/O 56 APO.

C) The Indian Postal Service and Army Postal Service is quite efficient. Once your envelope is drafted, you can rest assured that the post office will handle the next procedure.

The Army Postal Service and the Indian Postal Service will make sure that your gift for soldiers and your wishes are delivered to them on time. However, the distribution process is effectively managed by the management. The Indian Post transfers these envelopes to The Army Post and after that, the Army post delivers your rakhis to the soldiers.

Through this only effort, you can brighten up the day of the soldiers who guard our motherland during every hour of the day. It’s a great chance to thank all of them for their selfless service and express your gratitude towards them.
