Left-arm orthodox bowler and IPL sensation Shahbaz Nadeem scored his debut century to help Jharkhand post a huge first innings score of 354 against Uttar Pradesh at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
In his innings of 215 deliveries, the Bihar boy scored 109 runs with the help of 14 boundaries. He built a partnership of 171 with the right-handed batsman Ishank Jaggi for the seventh wicket. The medium pacer Dhruv Pratap Singh scalped six wickets including the crucial wickets of Saurabh Tiwary, Ishank Jaggi and Shahbaz Nadeem.
In their first innings, Uttar Pradesh have posted 81 on the board with the loss of three wickets. Priyam Garg is currently batting at 42. While Rahul Shukla and Varun Aaron are among the wicket-takers.
