The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to appear for a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be held in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned.

The preliminary examination will consist of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language. The mains exam has five different sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.

For the wrong answer, there will be negative marking in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination). 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Guidelines:

It is recommended to read every question carefully and decide whether you can answer. Hence, General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics cover maximum marks so try to solve that at first. Attempt maximum questions from each section in order to score better.

Try to attempt those questions which you know better and leave those which is time taking or lengthy during the first scan. After attempting all known questions, try to answer lengthy or concept testing questions.

Leave the question which is difficult because the wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 1/4 marks.
