REET 2026 Result Date:The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is expected to declare the much-awaited REET Mains Result 2026 for Level 1 and Level 2 teacher recruitment by May 25, based on the most recent updates coming in from officials and several media reports. Along with this result news, the Rajasthan government has also raised the count of primary teacher vacancies by 2,000 posts.

REET Mains 2026 Result Date Latest Update
RSSB Chairman Alok Raj reportedly said that the REET Mains 2026 results are likely to start being released somewhere between May 22 and May 25, and that the remaining pending recruitment outcomes may be announced between May 31 and June 3. The result release was a bit late, due to objections that were raised on a number of questions in the paper, with a few questions being removed after an expert review.
The REET Mains exam for third-grade teacher recruitment was held from January 17 to January 20, 2026 across various exam centres in Rajasthan.
2,000 Teacher Posts Increased In Rajasthan
In another important update for candidates, RSSB has revised the Level 1 primary teacher vacancies from 5,636 up to 7,000 posts. This increase of nearly 2,000 posts is expected to boost the selection odds for aspirants, who have been waiting.
According to the revised notification:
- 6,146 posts are reserved for Non-Scheduled Areas
- 854 posts are reserved for Scheduled Areas
The recruitment drive covers both General Education and Sanskrit Education departments for Classes 1 to 5 teachers.

2. Click on the ‘Result’ tab available on the homepage.
3. Select the link for “Direct Recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary School Teacher 2025-26 Result”.
4. Enter SSO ID and date of birth in the login window.
5. Submit the details to view the result on the screen.
6. Download and save the scorecard PDF for future use.

Why REET Result Was Delayed?
Reports suggest the result declaration was delayed because several candidates raised objections against the provisional answer key released on February 27, 2026. After review by subject experts, a few disputed questions were removed, leading to recalculation of scores before preparation of the final result.
“Results will start being released between May 22 and May 25. All pending recruitment results are expected to be announced between May 31 and June 3,” Board Chairman Major General Alok Raj said.
