On the occasion of Eid, internationally acclaimed Yoga master Bharat Thakur has announced a special recruitment drive for youth in the Kashmir valley. Bharat Thakur Artistic Yoga will also invest in setting up a world-class Yoga retreat in the valley, in partnership with local entrepreneurs.
“We will send a proposal to the Kashmir administration, and we will be in a position to start the recruitment drive, as soon as necessary approvals are in place. Over the next 3 months, we will make more than 500 offers, as Trainee Yoga Instructors” said Bharat Thakur.
Trainees will be hired on the basis of a fixed stipend, and after training period, will be offered jobs for handling centres in India or abroad. “We will also encourage some enterprising youth to independently run centres one revenue share basis,” Thakur added.
As for plans to set up a centre in the valley, Thakur said his team will start due diligence soon. “We have centres in most states of the country. In Kashmir, we are looking at our flagship venue, which will be a fusion of Yoga and traditional Indian wellness for domestic as well as international travellers,” he added.
