Republic Day celebrations 2023: Over 12,000 performers to take part in first ever Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival

As part of the Republic Day celebrations in the National Capital, over 1200 performers will participate in the first-ever Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival.

On the 23rd and 24th of January, at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, performances will be held under the banner Adi- Shaurya: Parv Parakram kain to commemorate the 126th birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The purpose of the event is to shed light on Subhash Chandra Bose’s contribution to the nation’s freedom struggle.

During the main event, many traditional dances will be performed, including Gaurr Maria, Gaddi Nati, Siddi Dhamal, Baiga Pardhoni, Purulia, and Bagurumba.

In addition, the Indian Army will demonstrate its prowess through Paramotor gliding, Hot Air Balloon, Horse Show, Khukuri Dance, Gatka, Mallakhamb, and martial arts performances.
