You might need a pack of tissues as we did while we came across this heartfelt viral video of mourning dog that has been waiting in the middle of a road for more than 80 days for its owner to return.
The state-owned China News Agency reported the dog in the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, had been sitting by the guard rail in the middle of the road for almost three months since its owner died in a car accident on August 21.
When the person filming approaches the dog, as if to help, it runs away before returning back to the original spot.
The soul-stirring video reminds us of Hachiko the Akita, which became famous in the 1920s in Japan, for meeting his master every day at a railway station. He continued to make the journey nine years after his owner’s death.
