Rise in crimes depends on criminals, says Nitish Kumar's minister

Patna: Over the sudden increase in crime incidents in Bihar, Tourism Minister Pramod Kumar of Nitish Kumar’s cabinet blames the criminals and held them responsible. When questioned Bhartiya Janata Party leader and cabinet minister Pramod Kumar also cited that crime even happened in England.

The number of cases including murder, kidnapping, loot, rape, and mob lynching is on the rise in the state and has created a mockery of law and order.

Speaking with media Pramod Kumar said, “It is in total control and you won’t be able to stop it ever. In Lalu’s tenure such criminals were backed by the political powers but now such things have changed and they are being nabbed and punished in accordance with the law.”

Minister further stated that such incidents are common everywhere. Even in Britain crimes are being committed by the local people.

He further added that the number of crimes depends upon the criminals and their activities. But our government is committed to reducing the crime in the state.
