RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha quits NDA

New Delhi: Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) has decided to quit the National Democratic Alliance and the decision was taken in the ‘Chintan Shivir’ held at Valmikinagar, Bihar. All the party workers and executive members gave their consent for the final decision.

The decision was long awaited as Kushwaha has given the ultimatum to BJP to solve the seat sharing issue ahead of Lok Sabha Polls 2019.

However, following no response either by Amit Shah and PM Modi, Kushwaha was left with no option but to leave the alliance.

RLSP chief was not happy over the seat-sharing decision made by BJP chief Amit Shah and JDU President Nitish Kumar.

On the other hand, the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) is ready to welcome him and several leaders who are part of this alliance have made this clear several times.

Kushwaha who was given a cabinet portfolio in Modi cabinet was demanding more number of seats for his party and expressed his demands multiple times. BJP and JDU leaders have mocked his demand for more number of seats.
