Where on one hand people are putting up collage of their photos from 2009 and comparing it with 2019’s picture, Rahit Sharma has instead of posting a pic of himself from 10 years ago, put up a split of a coral reef.
Currently in Australia, the Indian vice-captain highlighted how underwater life has been affected over the last 10 years. The half showing “2009” was alive and teeming with marine life while the adjacent one showing “2019” was dead.
He has indirectly given a message on how, as a human being, it is our responsibility to take care of the fishes who are diminishing very fast these days.

While the world is having fun over the recent trend, Rohit’s step has definitely won the hearts of many and will affect the most in a positive way. Since hared on Twitter on Wednesday, the post has been retweeted by almost 6 thousand people and has got over 31 thousand likes.
This is not the first time that Rohit Sharma has made his fans and followers aware of the present environmental situation. He previously joined hands with the former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen is saving Rhinos. He supported Sorai – 2k18 cause and also promoted it by using the picture of Rhino on his bat during one of the matches last year.
