The examination date for the RRB Group D exam will be announced this month i.e., December by the Railway Recruitment Boards, according to the latest report. Therefore, the release of admit card date will also be out soon.
The registrations were accepted from March 12 to April 12, 2019, and the last date to submit the online form was April 26, 2019. Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held in September-October 2019, per the notification, however, delayed due to administrative reasons. Now the exam date will finally be declared.
On one hand, there are the railway recruitment processes through RRBs, and on the other, there is recruitment through the RRCs (Railway Recruitment Cell) and railway zones.
Apart from the pending RRB Group D, RRB NTPC, RRB Ministerial recruitment, there are several other ongoing railway recruitment drives across the country. For example, the recruitment drive started by the Southern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell Chennai to fill up 3584 vacant posts. Applications for the same can be submitted until December 31, 2019.
In order to focus on the development of railway stations, recently, the Ministry of Railways has also formed a Group of Secretaries (GoS) for a one year term.
Indian Railways has also undertaken 188 new line projects worth 3.87 lakh crores, 55 gauge conversion projects of 56.135 thousand crores, 255 doubling projects of 2.32 lakh crores, 62 railway electrification projects of 30.9 thousand crores, 877 signaling projects of 23.43 thousand crores.
