RRB Group D CBT 2022 date: The Railway Group D recruitment exam will now begin from August 17 instead of the last week of July. The Railway Recruitment Board made the announcement by issuing a notice on its official website on Thursday. The Railways has said that from July 17, the Railway Group D recruitment exam will be conducted in several phases.

This time, Aadhaar verification of candidates will also be done. Earlier, the Railways had said that the RRB Group D recruitment exam will start from the last week of July and will continue till September. Candidates were waiting for the details of their admit card and exam city to be announced.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2022, Check Exam Date

RRB Group D Admit Card – Railway Group D admit card can be issued as per the earlier rules four days ago, the admit cards may be issued from August 13 or August 14. By August 7, the details of the exam city will be released.

1.03 lakh vacancies of Group D will be filled. 1 crore 15 lakh people had applied for recruitment to Group D posts. The selection in Group D recruitment (Level-1) will be from the single stage examination. The second will not be CBT.

The selection of candidates in railway group D recruitment will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Successful candidates in CBT will be called to PET.

RRC RRB Railway Group D Exam Pattern paper will be of 100 marks. There will also be 100 questions. Each question will be of 1-1 marks. A total of 90 minutes will be given. There will be 25 questions from General Science, 25 from Maths, 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 from General Awareness and Current Affairs. There will be negative marking in the exam. One-third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. To pass the written test (CBT), general category candidates will have to score 40 per cent, EWS 40 per cent, OBC (Non Creamy Layer) 30 per cent, SC and ST category candidates 30-30 per cent.

Successful candidates in CBT will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The terms of PET for female and male candidates

For male candidates: Will have to cover a distance of 100 meters with a weight of 35 kg at a time in 2 minutes.
– The 1000 m race has to be completed in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.

For female candidates: A distance of 100 meters with a weight of 20 kg at a time will have to be covered in 2 minutes.

The 1000 meter race has to be completed in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
