RRB SSC UPSC Recruitment Official Update 2023: Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, stated in Rajya Sabha that over 4.63 lakh candidates have been hired for government positions in the five years leading up to March 2023.

The Minister of State for Personnel, Jitendra Singh, issued an official update regarding government employment on July 20, 2023. In the five years leading up to March of this year, he informed the legislature that more than 4.63 million candidates were hired by government agencies. He also reported that the government has instructed all ministries and departments to fill vacant positions in a timely manner.

Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh stated in a written reply to Rajya Sabha, “From 01.04.2018 to 31.03.2023, the total number of candidates recommended by UPSC, SSC, and RRBs, including SCs, STs, and OBCs, is 4,63,205. In addition, the SSC and RRBs have recommended 1,03,196 candidates for appointment during the first quarter of 2023–24.

The minister went on to say, “The Government of India’s Rozgaar fairs are expected to serve as a catalyst for filling all vacant positions.” Rozgar mela is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for the creation of additional employment and self-employment opportunities, as well as provide youth with opportunities for gainful service.” He also assured that the process of replacing vacant positions in various ministries and departments is ongoing.

It was recently announced that PM Narendra Modi will distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits via video conferencing tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. The PM will also address these appointees at the event. The RozgarMela will take place in 44 locations across the nation.

The Indian Railways conducts the Railway Recruitment Exam for the purpose of recruiting candidates for various positions in various railway zones and production units across the country.
